Formal Qualifications include health and safety (MOHS, GCOHS), audit (lead auditor), training (Cert IV TAA/TAE), legal (LLB, GDLP) with Bernie admitted as a Lawyer to the Supreme Court of NSW in 2012, as well as in mediation, risk assessment (G2) & incident investigation.

Carole James

Dr Carole James PhD, MHSc(OT), BSc(OT), DipCOT Carole is an experienced Occupational Therapist who is skilled in understanding the functioning of people with a variety of disabilities. She has a best practice approach and applies evidence to both her assessments and reports.

Carole’s qualifications include a Diploma of the College Occupational Therapists from the London School of Occupational Therapy (1987), a BSc(OT) from Curtin University (1993), a MHSc(OT) from the University of South Australia (1999) and a doctorate in Occupational Therapy through the University of Newcastle in 2011.

Carole has more than 50 publications in a variety of referred journals including the Australian Occupational Therapy Journals, British Journal of Occupational Therapy, Journal of Occupational Rehabilitation, Disability and Rehabilitation and Work. She has 2 book chapters, one invited book review and has authored a government report. She also regularly presents at conferences.

Carole is registered with AHPRA and is a member of the Australian Occupational Therapy Association.
